Sonya Ford

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Friday, June 18, 2010 after a very brave and courageous fight against breast cancer. Sonya Ford-Mensink of Bradford at 49 years of age. Proud mother to Travis and Alex Ford. Daughter to Ben and late Betty Mensink. Sister to Ben (Tracey) Mensink Jr. and Patricia (Wayne) Hogan.  Sonya will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A very big thank you to the doctors and nurses at Southlake Regional Health Centre for all they did for Sonya and to Trish Valin and Robin Summers who showed what true friendship is. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for a memorial visitation on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 from 12 noon until the time of a memorial service in the Chapel at 2 p.m.  Donations to the Cancer Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket would be appreciated.
