Ignazio Polizzi

Passed away with family at his bedside on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket in his 80th year.  Beloved husband of Vincenza. Loving father of Antonia (Antonio) Bambina, Angela (Tom) Vegh and Nick (Beth). Loving grandfather to Giovanna (Brett) Cranford, Enza (Richard), Alexander, Bianca and Arianna. Great grandfather to Charlotte Cranford. Survived by his sister Rosa Puma and his brother Rosario (Margaret). Predeceased by his brothers Nicolo and Vincenzo and his sisters Filippa Garguilo and Giovanna Oliveri.  Survived by his brothers-in-law Lorenzo Ingoglia, Angelo Domingo, Salvatore Domingo and wife Camilla and sisters-in-law Francesca Beninati, Angela Asaro-Cristina and brother-in-law Jack Cristina. Fondly remembered and cherished by many nieces and nephews here in Canada, United States and Italy. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, Bradford for visitation on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill. Donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Breast Cancer Research and Education Fund (Ontario) would be appreciated.
