Lawrence James (Lawrie) Veal

(WWII Veteran, Owner/Operator of Lawrie Veal Chev Olds, King City)  Peacefully passed away at Bradford Valley Long Term Care on Friday, January 22, 2010. Lawrie Veal, formerly of Orr Lake and Toronto at 88 years of age.  Beloved husband of the late Juanita (nee Kirby) and companion of the late Elva Handy.  Loving dad of Jim (Laura) and Gary.  Grandpa to Sara and Cody.  Predeceased by his twin sister Grace and sisters Ann, Edna, Lily and Violet, and brothers Jack, Harry, Frederick, Frank and Gordon.  Lawrie will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 1 p.m. until time of a funeral service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. followed by cremation.  In Lawrie’s memory, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
