Jake Van Dyken

Peacefully at his home in Bradford, after a long illness, with his family at his side on Friday, November 14, 2008. Jake Van Dyken in his 72nd year.  Beloved husband of ShirleyVan Dyken (Simmerson).  Dear son of the late Marinus and the late Luktje Van Dyken. Dear father of Donald (Tina), Brenda, Debbie (Bill) O’Connor and Michael. Dear grandpa of Jenn, Jason, Eleysse, Jesse, Steven, Samantha. Dear great grandpa of Tristan, Jayda and Kiera. Predeceased by brothers Wiert, John and Peter Van Dyken and sisters Louise Hall and Celina Hollander. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, Bradford for visitation on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at the Bradford United Church, 66 Barrie St., Bradford on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 2 p.m.  Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.  Donations to the Cancer Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket would be appreciated.
